Peacock Marble Products
Granite Mountain carries one of the most diversified selections of Peacock Marble products of any store in the United States. This selection is organized by product types:
- Canisters and containers
- Mortar & pestles and coasters
- Bowls and bowl-like vases
- Table tops and animal carvings
- Vases
We also carry a small assortment od other products like soap dishes, trays, and plates that are not shown. The color varies from piece to piece, but the pastel colors lend themself to almost any decor. Some of the products we only have a few pieces, while others we have many pieces.

Mortars & pestles, coasters
Four different sizes of mortar and pestles are available.

Each coaster set contains six coasters and a holder. The coasters are 4 inches in diameter and the set is 3 inches tall. They are priced at $30 a set.

The largest piece is more of a vase than a bowl. The other two are modified fruit bowls with a short pedestal.

Tabletops and carved animals
These are two styles of table tops. The first style is rectangular and the second style is irregular but mostly rectangular. In general, they range from 22X40 to 26X44 inches and are one inch thick. They are all priced at $350.
The alligator on the left side and the lizard on the right side are very detailed carvings. The triple frog is like many Chinese traditions in threes, signifying knowledge, health, and wealth.

The 7X5 cylinder can also be used as a utensel holder while the 5.5X3 makes a great pencil and pen holder. Several 14X5 inch vases which are not shown are available at $100.
These are soapstone pen holders that are 5.5X3 inches. They are made at the same factory as the Peacock Marble was. They have carvings of a complete dragon wrapped around the perimeter. They are $10 and come in shades of brown and green.
We call these our "cooling tower" vases. A limited number of these pieces are available. A few 14X5 inch pieces which are not shown are available at $100.

These are a selection of odd sized and shaped vases that are available in limited quantities. The tallest vase (one piece only) is a marble from another site in Yunnan Province, China. The remaining pieces are of Peacock Marble.

Wow! What's the boss thinking about with that weird grin on his face? This is the largest and most expensive piece we've ever carried. It has fabulous colors and is 43X21 inches priced at $5000.
These two vases are 32X12 inches and are priced at $1000
Both of these vases have exquisite pastel coloring. The shorter vase is 29X15 onches. The taller vase is 35X15. Both are priced at $2000.
